Science Literacy

Science literacy is so important for everyone even the students that are not destine for STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematical) careers. Everyone should develop the ability to read an article in a newspaper or in a magazine or listen to commentary on a newscast with understanding and skepticism. To be scientifically literate is also knowing enough about science to be able to judge if the story that you are being told is being told in a fair and accurate way.
